Goodbye Kansas

Independence over-rated

Thunder, lightening, wind tight swirls leave the fertile landscape as the sea shore

Never the same, yet rhythms remain

Put on your shoes dear

We're heading to the coast

Good bye everything

I gave my best to the house dealer

Who could only really let you down

Now the road less traveled

Cousins needing just as much as me

Still caught silent, cuffed and handed unseen chains

Daily

I'll pull the car around

Put your troubles in the back

We'll head for the coast

And hope for the best

Telling secrets we don't even know
